Day 1
A Jack Nicklaus Signature Design, Grand Bear Golf Club opened in 1999 to widespread fanfare and near universal acclaim. Earning recognition as one of the Top 50 U.S. Public Golf Courses by Golfer’s Choice 2024 (GolfPass), Grand Bear Golf Club offers a unique and seemingly private golf experience built six miles into the DeSoto National Forest. No two holes parallel another, and homes, roads, and other distractions are amazingly absent while on property. In its place, the golfer is alone to enjoy the pristine natural environment, where the manicured course conditions meet the towering pines and surrounding cypress wetlands. Facing the challenge of the trademark Nicklaus design, our guests enjoy superior customer service from bag drop at arrival to a warm farewell on departure.
Day 2
Designed by Mark McCumber in 1986, this 18-hole championship course features over 6,600 yards of challenging golf complete with breathtaking landscapes, rolling hills and lush greens.
Purchased by Island View Casino Resort in 2007, Windance has recently been transformed into one of Mississippi’s top resort golf courses. Significant renovations include: the addition of new, state-of-the-art irrigation systems, a new lake, new native areas and decorative stone work.
Named Golfweek magazine’s “Best Places You Can Play”virtually every year, Windance has a 4 star rating by Golf Digest magazine and has been host to both the Ben Hogan and Nike tours with past winners including: 2003 U.S. Open Champion Jim Furyk, 1996 The Open Champion Tom Lehman, and 2005, 2006 Senior Open Champion Alan Doyle.
Day 3
With diverse topography and natural waterfront beauty, our championship level course offers the magnificence of the area's highest price venues at a fraction of the cost. Because of its various slopes, bunkers, dog legs, water hazards, and sand traps, this top-ranked, championship course offers challenges for even the most seasoned golfers.
